Overwatch Fans Unite! BlizzCon 2017

If you’re a huge fan of Blizzard Entertainment, chances are you know that BlizzCon 2017 is coming up soon. More specifically, it will be going on from October 26-November 4. Overwatch will be hosted on November 3rd and 4th.

BlizzCon will be hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, but don’t fret if you aren’t able to go. You can buy virtual tickets from Blizzard and watch BlizzCon from the comfort of your own home, whether it be at your computer desk or couch. The tickets cost $39.99 and you will get in-game items for all of Blizzard’s games. I am personally looking forward to the Overwatch skin that comes with it.

You can find the full schedule for BlizzCon here.

Blizzard also has a lot of games that you will see at BlizzCon (such as WoW, Heroes of the Storm, and Hearthstone).

The Overwatch World Cup is going to be a big part of BlizzCon 2017. The top 8 teams that are going to be playing there are: China, France, Sweden, South Korea, USA, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

Due to China’s close-to flawless victories against their opponents, they have a very strong chance of winning. Pro Overwatch Youtuber/Meme Creator McCreamy (who is hanging around 4000 to 4300 SR) says, “I think South Korea will win the Overwatch World Cup, their knowledge of the game is unprecedented.” Their individual skill is so grand that he couldn’t even put it into words.

In all honesty, any of the eight countries have a strong chance at winning this because they are the best of the best and they all made it this far. What we do know is that the Overwatch World Cup is going to be an exciting event to watch!

New items Blizzard is going to add to Overwatch include a new game mode added to competitive, or something even bigger.

“I’m really hoping that Blizzard can pull something huge out of their hat, because they’ve been known to do it before,” said McCreamy. Having a new hero in the game (Hero: 26) would make the variety better and help decrease the stale aspects of the game.

Whatever Blizzard releases at BlizzCon, it’s sure to be amazing. A lot of Overwatch players have high expectations for this event. Players will get to see the Overwatch World Cup and get a nice Overwatch skin. There are also going to be some fun little events like the Streamer Showdown, and informative items such as Inside the Overwatch League.
