A Quiet Place

A Quiet Place is a post-apocalyptic drama/horror movie released in April 6th, 2018, directed by and starring John Krasinski, along with Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Cade Woodward.

The story takes place in a deserted city of the United States. Over the year 2020, the Earth has been attacked by big creatures that have hypersensitive hearing and kill anything that makes noise. The movie is about the Abbott family, that communicates with each other with American Sign Language. Basically it tells their story and how they survive day by day. It makes viewers feel so much tension that even they think they have to stay quiet. It gets you from minute zero.

The fact that the actors can’t make any noises let filmmakers play with other sounds, something that they did really well. While you are watching this movie, you can even taste the tension, it makes you feel stiff the whole time and catches you by surprise with every scary scene.

A Quiet Place has great special effects overall. The monsters are so real that you could believe they weren’t made with a computer. Every detail, their mouths, skin, eyes, claws, are accurate and amazing.

If you are a lover of thrillers, you have to watch this one. It’s perfectly filmed, with good makeup, special effects, clothes, photography and cast. I loved how it made me feel inside the story, and all the emotions I had while I was watching it. If you see it, you won’t regret it.
